National Monument in Northeastern Wyoming.
A butte, composed of igneous rock, it rises 1,267 feet above the Belle Fourche River, standing 867 feet from summit to base. One of the most famous rock climbing destinations in North America. It is considered sacred to the Northern Plains Indians.
