Founder of the Ford Motor Company, and chief developer of the assembly line technique of mass production (that eventually allowed Ford Motor Company to turn out one Model T every 24 seconds). By creating the first automobile, the Model T, that middle-class Americans could afford at $850. Between 1913 and 1927, Ford factories produced more than 15 million Model T's.
